Ahmedabad: Pranitha Ecocables Limited has commenced commercial operations at its greenfield manufacturing facility in Sanand near Ahmedabad by dispatching its first batch of bare copper wire on September 20. The milestone marks the start of production at the company’s state-of-the-art 30-acre manufacturing unit.
The company plans to begin full-scale production of solar cables in October, followed by building wires and flexible cables in November. Additional product categories will be introduced in phases as the facility becomes fully operational. Pranitha Ecocables has also launched a nationwide campaign to expand its dealership network.
The foundation stone for the facility was laid in September 2025. Over the past year, construction and infrastructure development have progressed steadily, with advanced manufacturing machinery being installed from Europe, China, Turkey and India.
According to Pranjal Goyal, Director, Pranitha Ecocables, the company aims to establish new benchmarks in quality, transparency and sustainability. The company will source 100% of its primary copper requirement from Kutch Copper Limited, part of the Adani Group, with copper purity exceeding 99.97%.
The company said its integrated sourcing approach is intended to ensure consistent quality, reliability and long-term product performance.
Pranitha Ecocables expects its Sanand facility to help it participate in India’s rapidly expanding wire and cable market, valued at more than ₹1 lakh crore. The sector is projected to reach around ₹1.6 lakh crore by 2030, supported by infrastructure development, renewable energy expansion, urbanisation and digitisation.
The company also marked the occasion with the inauguration of a newly constructed temple at its manufacturing facility in the presence of stakeholders.
