Star-studded celebration honours employee talent, sporting excellence and the spirit of teamwork in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad, October 21, 2026: Marking a proud milestone in its journey of growth and achievement, Ahmedabad-based Chiripal Group celebrated its 54th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium on Wednesday. Renowned Indian film actor Boman Irani graced the occasion as the chief guest, while celebrated squash player Suraj Chand, an Asian Games bronze medallist, attended as the guest of honour.
The celebration brought together the Group’s promoters, employees and staff members to commemorate its legacy, recognise collective achievements and celebrate the people who have contributed to its continued progress across diverse business sectors, including textiles.
The programme began with an engaging employee talent show, where members of the Chiripal Group showcased their artistic abilities through singing, dancing and other captivating performances. The event was followed by a formal presentation highlighting the Group’s growth journey and achievements over the years. A cake-cutting ceremony added to the festive spirit of the occasion.
Boman Irani’s presence brought a special touch of glamour to the celebrations, as he interacted with the Group’s promoters and employees. Suraj Chand’s participation highlighted the Group’s commitment to encouraging sporting talent through its Chiripal Squash Excellence Programme, an initiative aimed at nurturing emerging squash players and providing them with competitive opportunities.

The occasion also witnessed the felicitation of winners of the Chiripal Spark Sports Festival 2026. Employees who delivered outstanding performances across various sporting competitions were awarded medals. The annual festival brings together employees from different companies within the Group, strengthening camaraderie, collaboration and team spirit through sports.
