Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu inaugurated hub and spoke international flight services at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on 01 Sep 2026. On this occasion, he congratulated the citizens on the launch of this service. Further, Shri Naidu said, India has come a long way in the field of civil aviation. On this occasion, he also announced the construction of 100 new airports in the country in the next 10 years.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol were present on this occasion. It is worth mentioning that the first Easy Connect service flight Al -1121 operated by Air India will depart from Ahmedabad. This flight will provide passenger service to various destinations around the world via Delhi.
