About the Articleship Mela

The Articleship Mela is a structured, offline placement platform that brings together first-year CA students and article-seeking CA firms under one roof. It goes beyond a typical job fair — introducing a smart matchmaking process where students register their preferred practice areas (Audit, Taxation, GST, Internal Audit) and geographical preferences, while CA firms register with their own selection filters. A smart dashboard maps both parties for effective shortlisting, culminating in on-the-spot interviews at the Mela.

“This is our fourth edition — and the momentum is stronger than ever. The continued trust that both firms and students place in the CAAA Articleship Mela is what has shaped it into a true institution. In our Platinum Jubilee year, we are building on that legacy to offer not just articleship placements, but a whole new ecosystem of support for the profession.”

What’s New in Edition 4.0 — A Vision Beyond Articleship

CAAA’s 75th year carries the spirit of transformation. This edition expands well beyond the articleship mela into a comprehensive professional development and ecosystem-building initiative:

◆ Paid Assistant Placement for CA Firms: Recognising the growing need for skilled support staff, CAAA is collaborating with leading colleges to assist CA firms in placing qualified paid assistants — trained specifically for employability in CA firm environments.

◆ AI Workshops for External Organisations: CAAA is now extending its expertise outward — partnering with corporates, professional bodies, and industry groups who require AI literacy workshops or specialised CA-domain services, enabling new touchpoints with the wider business community.

◆ Cross-Association Outreach for Brand Recall: Through collaborations with other professional associations, CAAA is building brand recall across sectors — creating shared programmes that elevate the collective standing of the CA profession across Gujarat.

◆ Platinum Jubilee Flagship Events & Fellowship: A rich calendar of celebratory programmes marks the 75th year — including landmark events, knowledge sessions, cultural and fellowship initiatives, and legacy-building efforts that honour the association’s journey and inspire the next generation.
