On the occasion of the 60th birthday of Hon’ble Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amitbhai Shah, Gujarat State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Ltd. will organize a special Seva and Tree Plantation Festival tomorrow. The event aims to seek God’s blessings for Shri Shah’s healthy life, longevity and successful career.
Under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi, the Bank will plant 60 trees each at its headquarters and 17 district offices. These trees will be a symbol of environmental protection and longevity of Shri Shah.
In addition, Bank Chairman Shri Dolarbhai Kotecha and officers will perform seva work in old age homes, orphanages and Divyangjan Grihas. Food will be served to the needy there, giving the message of spreading the spirit of love, compassion and service in the society.
Shri Dolarbhai Kotecha said, “This event is a unique opportunity to serve the society and the environment by taking inspiration from the life of Shri Amitbhai Shah. Our tree plantation is a part of the Prime Minister’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, which symbolizes our faith and gratitude towards Mother Earth and motherhood.”
