On this occasion, an internationally renowned personality, founder and chairman of Shree Ramkrishna Exports Pvt.Ltd and the member of Parliament of Rajyasabha Shree Govind Dholakia, graced the occasion as the chief guest.He motivated the students during his speech with the words, “You are not just graduates; you are the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers who will shape the world.”
In this eighth convocation, degrees were awarded to more than 900 students of undergraduate and post-graduate programs from various institutions affiliated with Indus University. Further 22 students received their Ph.D. degrees at this convocation also.
Additionally, 15 gold medals and 6 memorial awards were awarded to students across various disciplines.
The honorary Ph.D. degree was awarded to two well-known personalities Mr. Erdem Arioglu well known Civil Engineer and vice president of YapıMerkezi Construction & Industry In., from Turkey and Smt. IndumatiKatdare well known social worker for their contributions to the society and to the world.
Presidential Secretariat of Indus University, Dr. Nagesh Bhandari, and Dr. Ritu Bhandari, members of the Board of Management, Board of Governors, and many dignitaries from various fields also graced this grand convocation ceremony. Moreover, the eighth convocation of Indus University was live telecasted on the university’s YouTube channel, allowing friends, family, and well-wishers worldwide to partake in the celebrations and witness the achievements of the graduates.
