Ahmedabad: Antimdham Charitable Trust, under the guidance of Pujya Viral Bapu, has announced a nationwide movement aimed at achieving social transformation through religion. Moving beyond conventional religious discourses, the Trust seeks to address pressing social challenges such as drug addiction, depression, family conflicts, rural migration, and the lack of access to education, healthcare, and dignified last rites. According to Pujya Viral Bapu, the true essence of religion lies in serving humanity, promoting moral values, improving healthcare and education, protecting the environment, and contributing to nation-building.
A key initiative of the movement is the campaign “Science and Religion – Two Sides of One Coin,” which will explain the scientific, health, and cultural significance of Vedic traditions such as lighting a ghee lamp, performing Yagna, applying tilak, worshipping Tulsi and Peepal trees, and fasting. The Trust will also organize state-wide anti-drug campaigns, yoga and meditation centres, mental health awareness programs, family values initiatives, youth personality development workshops, and value-based education campaigns. Special service activities include a large blood donation camp on Guru Purnima and a nutrition drive for young girls during Gauri Vrat.
The Trust also unveiled two landmark projects. Vrindavan Dham will feature a modern shelter for 1,000 Nandi bulls, an Annapurna food centre for Narmada Parikrama pilgrims, an old-age home, cow-based natural farming initiatives, and a spiritual research centre. The Maa Makarvahini Mokshadham Foundation at Chanod will provide completely free ash immersion services to families from across India.
Calling upon religious organizations, industrialists, educational institutions, healthcare professionals, youth, and philanthropists to join the mission, Pujya Viral Bapu emphasized that true religion is reflected in uplifting society through compassion, service, and values. The Trust’s vision is to build a self-reliant, value-driven, and prosperous nation rooted in Sanatan Dharma while contributing to global welfare through sustainable and inclusive social development.
