The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), an apex body representing almost all groups, sections and organisations of Muslims, today organised a meeting here at Faizanul Quran English Medium School in Ahmedabad. The meeting was organised by Maulana Habib Khan Saheb of Faizanul Quran.
The meeting was presided over by AIMPLB President Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani Saheb and the Board’s General Secretary Maulana Fazlur Rahim Mujaddidi Saheb were also present on the occasion. Apart from this, renowned Muslim scholar and orator Maulana Abu Talib Rahmani Saheb was also present in the meeting. Mufti Ahmed Devalvi Saheb also led the meeting. Many responsible and respected representatives of various sections of Muslim communities, organisations and religious institutions from across the state participated in the meeting.
Important decisions and upcoming events:
30th Annual Convention: It has been decided in the meeting that the 30th Annual Convention/Session of AIMPLB will be held in Ahmedabad on 2nd, 3rd and 4th October, 2026.
Formation of Planning Committee: To implement this decision, a special committee has been formed to organize, plan and conduct the convention. This committee will work under the guidance of Mufti Ahmed Devalvi Sahab, whose President will be Maulana Habib Khan Sahab and Advocate Muhammad Tahir Hakim Sahab will be the Secretary.
Expected Attendance: More than 250 members of AIMPLB and about 250 other invitees are expected to participate in this annual convention. Hence, extensive and elaborate arrangements are being made for it.
Main Agenda: This conference will discuss in detail important issues such as serious problems related to Muslims, their constitutional rights and personal law.
