On the upcoming 28th of November, on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary celebration of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj, a full-day celebration will be held at Shri Sankatmochan Mahavir Temple. With the immense grace of Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj, the temple has organized various religious and social programs throughout the day.
In the morning, around 300 school students will collectively recite the Hanuman Chalisa. After that, gifts and chocolates will be distributed among young children.
Throughout the day, the “Ram Roti Seva Rath” will provide meals to people in need. At 7 PM, the temple will hold a blanket distribution program for the poor and needy.
Additionally, at 7 PM, there will be 21 recitations of the Hanuman Chalisa, devotional kirtans, and in conclusion, “Baba ka Bhandara”, where all devotees will be lovingly served sacred prasad and dinner.
According to the founder of Shri Sankatmochan Mahavir Temple, Dr. Praveen Garg, the entire program will be open to all devotees, and everyone is invited to attend this holy occasion to receive divine blessings.
Temple founder Dr. Praveenbhai Garg further stated:
“On this occasion, we are not only celebrating a religious festival but also spreading the message of service. This temple is the fourth in India where a reclining (resting) idol of Hanumanji is installed, and devotees can truly experience the infinite grace of Baba Neem Karoli.”
Special Features of the Temple
- On 23 November 2025, the temple completed 15 months.
- In these 15 months, Sundarkand has been recited 65 times.
- Festivals like Hanuman Jayanti, Guru Purnima, Navratri, Rakshabandhan, Ganesh Sthapana & Visarjan, Kali Chaudas Havan, Dussehra (with Fafda-Jalebi distribution), etc., are celebrated with devotional songs and worship.
- By Baba’s grace, the temple operates 2 Ram Roti Seva Rath vehicles, which prepare meals for 200–300 people every morning and evening, distributing prasad at various locations.
- Elderly individuals, differently-abled children, and visually impaired children are invited to participate in group recitations of Sundarkand and Hanuman Chalisa.
- Special prasad meals and honor services are provided for senior citizens.
- On special days, continuous (Akhand) Hanuman Chalisa recitations and Ramcharitmanas readings are conducted.
- On the first Tuesday of every month, a havan is performed, open for all devotees to participate.
- Every Sunday, Sundarkand path, kirtan, and aarti are organized and open to everyone.
In addition, every Wednesday and Sunday, the temple offers free health check-ups and medicine distribution, accommodation for saints and monks, and a drinking-water facility for travelers.
Shri Sankatmochan Mahavir Hanuman Temple is becoming increasingly renowned day by day. Many devotees visit daily to receive the blessings of Hanumanji and Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj.
