CPR (Basic Life Support Training), Burns and First Aid training was organized for the employees of 18 fire stations of Ahmedabad under the campaign to teach CPR (Basic Life Support Training) by GCS Hospital. A total of more than 350+ fire fighters from all fire stations of Ahmedabad participated in this campaign.
Accident. In case of fire, drowning in river, short circuit, all these causes cause cardiac arrest. A patient’s chance of survival increases by more than 40 percent if they are given immediate CPR treatment by someone trained in CPR techniques. In this method, at the time of cardiac arrest, pressure is applied to the chest at a certain place at a certain time to restart the heartbeat and save the person’s life. Apart from this, first aid training on how to provide immediate treatment at the time of burns and accidents was also given so that the persons burnt in the fire can receive treatment at the scene of the incident.
