Following the visit of our Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi to USA, following the motto ‘Collaboration is the Pipe Line of Talent’, Ganapat University has signed an MoU with Affair Dickinson University, USA and NK Technolabs. This MoU will create opportunities for students of both universities. An MoU was signed for the students of Master’s program in engineering discipline. This MoU will facilitate the travel of students from one country to another and help in two-way collaboration. Honorable President of Ganapat University, Chief and Padma Shri Dr. Dr. Ganpatbhai Patel, President of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dr. Michael Avaltroni, University Provost of FDU. Benjamin Franklin, Vice Provost, Dr. Jason Scorza (International Relations), FDU and Campus Directors and Dean of the University were present online. Mahendra Sharma, Joint Director General of GUNI Shri Prof. DanielMontplaisir, CEO of NK Technolab Incn Mr. Kuntesh Parikh, GUNI Pro Vice ChancellorDr. RK Patel, Executive Registrar (Administration) Dr. Saurabh Dave as well as Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellors, Executive Deans and students including all faculties were also present. Honorable Pro Chancellor and Director General of Ganapat University Dr. Mahendra Sharma in his welcome address emphasized the importance of collaboration and said that collaboration will be an engine of change at global level and create opportunities for students from both sides of GUNI and FDU.FDU Vice Provost Dr. Jason Scorza said, “The collaboration between FDU and GUNI is essential in bringing technology and humanitarianism together.” FDU President Dr. Michael Avaltroni in his formal address emphasized on cooperation at the global level as it will bring us better world citizens and a better society. He also said that the collaboration between FDU and GUNI is also very important as we share a common vision on how education works to change the world. On this occasion, the Honorable President of GUNI, Padmashri Ganapatbhai Patel, said that the signing of the MoU is only an event but it is important how we can bring change in the society through it. He also said that this partnership will definitely be successful as Ganpat University always looks after the interest of their partners first and by doing this we promote cross cultural value system opportunities for students. Talking about the benefits of the MoU to the students, FDU’s Indian representative and CEO of NK Technolab Inc, Srikuntesh Parikh said that the collaboration will help students reduce costs and study time for their career advancement and will also provide them with a wonderful opportunity. Mr. Kuntesh Parikh of NK Technolabs who is also an alumnus of FDU, USA signed a tri-partite agreement with MoU which will facilitate students in USA for admission, visa and assistance in their process without charge. At the conclusion of the ceremony, GUNI’s Honorable Joint Director General Professor Daniel Montplaisir thanked the dignitaries in the USA for sparing their time and staying up late into the night to witness the ceremony. He also said that such MoUs pave the way for students to be part of the core of companies set up by immigrants around the world. He also said that India and the younger generation have more opportunities to lead in technology and international education and the experience will make them more powerful. With the signing of this MoU, GUNI and FDU will provide more such avenues and opportunities to their students for their bright future.
