GujaratUniversity Registrar Piyush Patel have lodged FIR against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lok Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on 12/04/2023. Aam Aadmi Party regional office bearers held fierce sloganeering and demonstrations at the Gujarat University campus yesterday on this issue. Ramdhun was also sung in the courtyard. The local police were present at the scene of the incident, so a heated argument broke out between the police and the Aam Aadmi activists. A petition in this regard was filed by High Court Advocate Sheetal Upadhyay Vice President Education Cell Aam Aadmi Party,who said that Gujarat University should stop making it a political arena and stop working at the behest of the ruling party. She further added that Gujarat University Registrar Piyush Patel, who has become a political hand, should resign and stop defaming Gujarat University. We will not allow our university to be defamed.
