Amit Shah Ahmedabad Visit: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Ahmedabad on May 20. He will do the Khatmuhurta and launch under Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and Auda. Apart from this, the projects of the area under Gandhinagar Lok Sabha will also be inaugurated. Shah will open the works of AMC estimated to be more than 500 crores. Shah will inaugurate a gymnasium at a cost of 1.5 crores and a library at a cost of 1.5 crores at the Naranpura seat, a Suez treatment plant at a cost of 17 crores in Chandalodia. Apart from this, 2500 houses will be drawn at a cost of 300 crores.

After the violence in Manipur, the Chief Minister met Amit Shah in Delhi

Violence-hit Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh along with his four cabinet ministers and state BJP president Sharda Devi met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday (May 14). Minister of State and Government Spokesperson Sapam Ranjan Singh has given this information.

The meeting comes at a time when there was a large-scale violence in Manipur a few days ago in which more than 60 people were killed. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda was also present in this meeting. “The Chief Minister, his four cabinet ministers and the BJP state unit chief met the Union Home Minister,” said Sapm Ranjan Singh.

SP Ranjan Singh did not disclose the issues discussed in the meeting but said the Chief Minister will address a press conference in Imphal on Monday morning and brief reporters about his visit to Delhi. The spokesperson said that the Chief Minister is returning to Manipur tonight. Sources said that the Chief Minister and other members of the delegation were called to Delhi for the meeting.

After the violent clashes, over 5,800 people from Manipur have fled to Mizoram and have taken shelter in various districts of the neighboring state. A total of 5,822 people of the Chin-Kuki-Mizo community are living in temporary relief camps in six districts of Mizoram, the official said. Aizawl district currently has the highest number of displaced people at 2,021, followed by Kolasib with 1,847 and Saitul with 1,790, officials said.
Mizoram’s Lok Sabha member C Lalrosanga has supported the demand of tribal legislators from Manipur for a separate administration for tribals. Claiming that the tribal people can no longer live under the Manipur government, 10 Kuki MLAs on Friday urged the Center to set up a separate administration in the wake of the violent clashes. Seven of these MLAs belong to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
